1Introduction

Welcome to Chardham Sarthi ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website chardhamsarthi.com ("Website") and the booking of any pilgrimage tour packages and travel services provided by us. By accessing the Website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We are a pilgrimage tour operator based in Uttarakhand, India, offering organized travel packages covering the Char Dham circuit — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — as well as Ek Dham, Do Dham, and Teen Dham variants.

2Booking & Payment Terms

2.1. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Company. 2.2. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment (30% of total package cost) and issuance of a booking confirmation number. 2.3. Payment is accepted through UPI, bank transfer, and online payment gateways as displayed on the Website. 2.4. The remaining balance (70%) is due 1–3 days before the travel date to allow smooth arrangements with hotels and transport vendors. 2.5. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable GST unless otherwise stated. 2.6. Package prices are per person and may vary based on travel dates, accommodation tier (Standard/Premium), group size, and seasonal demand.

3Package Inclusions & Exclusions

Typically Included: Accommodation (as per package tier), all meals (vegetarian — breakfast, lunch, dinner), vehicle for all road transfers, driver allowance, toll & parking charges, tour coordinator assistance, Yatra registration support, first aid kit, and applicable taxes. Typically Excluded: Pony/Palki/Doli charges at Yamunotri & Kedarnath, helicopter services, personal expenses, travel insurance, camera fees at temples, porter charges, emergency evacuation, and any services not explicitly listed in inclusions. The exact inclusions and exclusions for each package are listed on the respective package detail page and in the booking confirmation.

4Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please refer to our detailed Cancellation & Refund Policy page for complete information. In summary: cancellation charges range from 10% (30+ days before departure) to 100% (less than 3 days / no-show). Government-mandated cancellations or force majeure events are treated separately with full refund or date change options.

5Traveler Responsibilities

5.1. Travelers must provide accurate personal information and valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, or PAN) for all travelers at booking. 5.2. All pilgrims must complete the mandatory free registration on the official Uttarakhand Government portal (registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in) and carry the QR-coded e-Pass. Entry will be denied at checkpoints without a valid pass. 5.3. Travelers are responsible for their own physical fitness. The Yatra involves trekking at altitudes above 3,000 meters. We strongly recommend a medical check-up, especially for those above 60 years or with cardiac/respiratory conditions. 5.4. Travelers must follow all instructions from the tour coordinator, driver, and local authorities. 5.5. The consumption of alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and tobacco is strictly prohibited during the Yatra as per local temple regulations.

6Travel & Safety

6.1. The Char Dham circuit involves travel through mountainous terrain. Road conditions can change due to weather, landslides, and construction. 6.2. Night driving is restricted on hill roads (8:00 PM – 4:00 AM) per Uttarakhand government regulations. 6.3. The monsoon season (July–August) carries higher risk of landslides and road closures. 6.4. Helicopter services for Kedarnath are operated by third parties with separate terms. We act only as a facilitator. 6.5. We strongly recommend purchasing personal travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and medical emergencies.

7Itinerary Changes

7.1. The Company reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to road closures, weather, government orders, or other circumstances beyond our control. 7.2. If a Dham/temple is closed or inaccessible, we will attempt to reschedule within the trip duration. No refund for missed visits due to force majeure. 7.3. Hotel substitutions of equivalent or higher category may occur if the originally booked property is unavailable.

8Limitation of Liability

8.1. The Company shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our control, including: acts of God, weather, landslides, earthquakes, government actions, strikes, or epidemics. 8.2. We act as intermediaries for hotels, transport, and third-party services. We vet all partners but are not directly responsible for their service quality. 8.3. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for that booking.

9Intellectual Property
